Gear We Recommend

Not every product on this page is something we personally own.
Some are.
Others come from brands we've trusted for years.
Every item is here because we'd be comfortable recommending it to a fellow rider.

Camera Gear

The camera setup we've trusted through real miles and real weather.

GoPro HERO11 Black

We currently ride with a GoPro HERO11 Black, and it has recorded thousands of miles in rain, heat, highway speeds, and back roads without letting us down. Although the HERO11 has been replaced by newer models, our experience with it gives us confidence in recommending GoPro today.

GoPro Max 2

The GoPro MAX 2 is the newest camera on our bike and is quickly becoming one of our favorites. It captures everything around us, allowing us to choose the best camera angle after the ride instead of trying to guess it before we leave. We're still putting it through real-world touring, but it has already earned a permanent place in our camera setup.

Jackets

Weather changes. Your jacket should too.

Xelement

This is the leather I reach for. Good price, showed up fast, and it fits the way a riding jacket should.

Road Armor

When the temperature climbs this is what I reach for. Kevlar and armor so you're not giving anything up on protection.

Boots

Miles on the pegs, miles on the pavement.

Justin Boots

Composite toe, square toed, slip on. Not your traditional biker boot but that's the point. Comfortable, durable, and won't break the bank.

Harley-Davidson Boot

She picked these and she's happy with them. Looks good, feels good, does the job.

Helmets

The right lid makes a long day a lot more comfortable.

LS2 Advant X

This is what she reaches for on most rides. She picked it, she owns it, and she's happy with it — which around here means it made the cut.

Daytona Helmets

Between the two of us we've gone through several Daytonas over the years. Full face, half shell, open face — they've got the selection covered.

After the Ride

Because the ride is only part of the day.

Ariat Ironside Square Toe

Coming Soon

Exotic print, safety toe, and actually wearable off the bike. They're on their way and we'll have a full review once we've put some miles on them.
